Hi there, this observational drawing was of a black lace dress. You need your fine line pens to do this. Firstly plan out your drawing so it fills the page, then draw the garments using your fine line pens. Remember to vary the strength of lines to reflect the different strengths of black. You need to represent the lace with marks that resemble the pattern, because it is black on black you will need to start off with a cross hatched back ground (see the drawing at the bottom) you will also need to lightly indicate the limbs of the mannequin.
